EXPOSITORY PARAGRAPH
What is the definition of expository paragraph ? Expository is the paragraph that  explains or analyzes a topic is a paragraph. It is usually include of information, explanation, fact, and illustration. Expository text can be divided into several model of writings such as process paragraph and procedure paragraph. If process paragraph using passive sentences and procedure using active sentences. The expository paragraph has similirities to that of descriprive in that the tenses depend on the time of description. It has sociaI function is to inform the reader about process or pocedure to do something.  When you want to make expository paragraph you should know the generic structure. Those are topic sentences, the requirement to be topic sentences are it has complete sentences and the most general sentences in the paragraph, supporting sentences such as an example, detail, charts (if needed), concluding sentences it can be summary, logical sentences, etc. In addition, you should know about the language features because it is very important. Those are, using process verb such as begin, start, continue, become, remain, develop, end, finish, culminate, using indefinite transition, using temporal conjunction, using question word mark such as what, when, where, who, why, how, using simple present tenses either verbal or nominal. For the example of the expository text that have the title are how paper is made ?, it is include of process paragraph because the sentences using passive sentences and this one is how to make paper, it is include of procedure paragraph because the sentences using active sentences. For the title above, it can be develop into some paragraph. Each paragraph should explain step by step in detail. From the description above, it can conclude that expository paragraph that explain how to do something.
