METHOD FOR LEARNING VOCABULARY

LABELLING WORD METHOD

1.      Definition       

Labelling word method is the one of the method that give a label on the pieces of paper or fold card to classify of word base on the material theme and find the meaning of the word.

2.      What Should Be done in this method ?

This method have 3 activity, those are :

1.      Opening 

-          Students are introduced to the topics that will be studied.

-          Students answer questions about the topics to be studied.

2.      Learning Process

-          Students have activities related to the core material.

-          Students practice the skills that a learning goal.

3.      Closing

-          Students conclude the learning activities. (feedback)

TECHNIQUE

Adjust Word And Picture On Fold Card

1.      Students make a group that consist of 5-6 people.

2.      The teacher give an explanation about the materials.

3.      The teacher give assignment about the materials and give an instruction to do it.

4.      Each group get a fold card, word, picture  that the teacher given.

5.      Members of the group do the task with adjust word and picture on fold card base on the material.

6.      Afterwards, if each group finished they can collect their task to the teacher.

7.      The teacher critise about their task together.

8.      The teacher give feedback with choose one of the student randomly to conclude about material like memorize the vocabulary that have been patched on fold card.
